Equities Magazine

Art Direction/Branding/Editorial/Print/Digital/Trade Shows

I led a five-person creative team in a comprehensive redesign of this well-known but seriously outdated financial magazine, from the ground up. I revitalized the publication with a new cover layout, story layout and accompanying style guide to achieve a modern look and feel. Together, the team redesigned the corporate website, as well as a range of marketing collateral pieces (brochures, promotional products, media kits, etc.) and created original designs for industry conferences and events (invitations, email blasts, banners, graphics, presentations, etc.), aligning all pieces with the new branding. Through our efforts, the quarterly magazine was transformed into a sleek, modern monthly on par with Forbes. The update and expansion from 50 to 100+ pages enabled the publisher to charge premium pricing for advertising space, thereby increasing ad revenue per issue from $1,000 to $60,000.
